Camera shots

Hi guys

I have been trying with my camera on my phone to experiment with different camera shots like close up, tilted shot and used the rule of thirds to see what effect these types of shots can have on the mood and emotions of the pictures.

My theme that I was playing with was about being trapped and isolated from the world. So let's see if my pictures fit the theme well by using the camera shots to portray this feel...

Welcome to my blog site

I haven't studied Media Studies before but with having friends in the year a both me (year 13) that did this subject last year that of whom showed me there work and some of the things that they did behind the scenes. This really made me want to join in and do it myself. Therefore now in year 12 I have chosen the subject Media Studies and am very exited to start the work and to work with new people.

One particular area I'm interested in is using the cameras because I have always had cameras but never known how to use them to their full potential.

The task I have to complete is a two to two and a half minute opening to a film with sounds like good fun and I already have plenty of great ideas.
